Players must develop the area around the city of Carcassonne. Each turn you may add fields, roads, cities, and cloisters. You also deploy followers such as thieves, farmers, knights, and monks to control the land. Carefully manage your followers to score as many points as possible. The River Expansion is now included with the Carcassonne base game. For 2-5 players. Ages 10 and up.
